Nchanga Rangers will host FC Leopards in their Zambian Premier league MTN-FAZ Week 12 fixture at Nchanga Stadium in Chingola on Saturday.

Coming from a 1-0 defeat against Kansanshi Dynamos before the international break, Brave Nchanga Rangers will seek to redeem themselves with a victory.

Nchanga Rangers head into this game occupying seventh place with 17 points from 10 matches, marking five wins, two draws, and three losses.

Speaking to the club’s media in an interview ahead of the match, Rangers assistant coach Israel Mwanza said the team has fully prepared and is ready to deliver.

“We are very much ready. Compared to last week, we have got enough time to prepare. Last week we didn’t have enough time to prepare. This time we have prepared very well against FC Leopards. I think it should be a must-win game,” said the coach.

Mwanza urged his players to aim at collecting maximum points in their remaining six matches so that they can achieve the target for the first round of the 2025-26 Super League season.

“The message to the boys is that we have remained with about six to seven games to go into the second round, and we have a target to play ABSA, so we have to make sure that we start picking maximum points in the remaining games,” noted the coach.

A win for Brave Nchanga Rangers will revive the team’s chances of playing in this year’s ABSA Cup.
