Portuguese superstar Cristiano Ronaldo has signed a two-and-a-half-year contract with Saudi Arabian club Al Nassr that will run until June 2025.

The 37-year-old will earn a record annual salary of €200, which includes commercials and sponsorship deals.

Ronaldo spoke about this new challenge in his career following his official unveiling at the Asian Club and declared himself prepared for novel adventures in a different league and another nation.

The Portugal national team’s all-time goal scorer said Al Nassr’s plans for the club inspired him and he is excited to meet his new teamamtes.

“I am looking forward to experiencing a new football league in a different country. “The way Al-Nasr works is very inspiring, and I’m excited to join my teammates to help the team achieve more success.”

Ronaldo played for Sporting, Manchester United, Real Madrid, and Juventus before joining Al Nassr, making them the fifth club to sign him throughout his career.

The five-time Ballon d’Or winner will now pair up with Vincent Aboubakar of Cameroon as the attacking duo for his new club in Saudi Arabia.

The club believes that Ronaldo’s presence at Al Nassr will boost the Saudi Pro League’s popularity and serve as an inspiration for the country’s young football players.
