South Africa, Senegal, Ghana, and Mali have completed the line-up for the quarterfinals of the 2024 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON).

Defending champions South Africa cruised to a dominant 4-0 victory over Mali to finish top of Group C. The defeat saw Mali drop to third place, as Ghana moved into second after a convincing 4-1 win over Tanzania to secure their spot in the last eight.

Senegal also booked their place in the knockout stage as one of the best third-placed teams. Botswana, who had hoped for a draw between Ghana and Tanzania to progress, were eliminated.

Quarterfinal Fixtures:

  • Morocco vs Mali – 18 July 2025, Rabat
  • Nigeria vs Zambia – 18 July 2025, Casablanca
  • Algeria vs Ghana – 19 July 2025, Berkane
  • South Africa vs Senegal – 19 July 2025, Oujda
