Sitting comfortably at the top of the table with a perfect 54 points from 54 available, Zesco Ndola Girls are on the brink of making history. Head coach William Zulu has made their ambitions clear.

“We just have to win this league at all costs,” Zulu said after the hard-fought home win.

Despite their dominance, Zulu admits that the journey has not been easy. As runaway log leaders, every team in the league is eager to be the first to defeat them.

“The season is good for us, though it’s tough. It’s not easy because every team wants to beat us, so we just have to fight until the end,” he said.

Zulu attributed the team’s outstanding performance to the help they get from Zesco Limited, its sponsors. He claims that the players have been much inspired by this support.

“All our players are motivated even the support we are getting from our sponsors that’s the reason you have seen all of us we are on top of the game, so we just have to win this league at all costs.”

Zulu is confident that his squad has the quality to finish the job and secure the title.

“We have a plan, and we have the right players at the moment. All of us are heading in the right direction,” he said.
