Kundananji ‘s goal inspired a great comeback for the Madrid-based outfit after they had fallen behind 2-0 after 50 minutes when Pauleta and Ivonne Chacon scored for the home side.

Her goal also meant she is the second-highest scorer so far in the league behind FC Barcelona’s Caroline Hassen, who has eight goals.

Kundananji began the comeback seven minutes after her team had conceded two goals, and Chacon completed her brace two minutes later.

Madrid reduced the deficit to 3-2 through Karen Araya in the 74th minute, before Aldana Commetti scored to level the score in the 80th minute.

Madrid then completed a great comeback after Ana Rosa scored from the penalty spot to make it 4-3 in injury time.

Meanwhile, Kundananji will aim to end the year on a high as the leading goal scorer of the Spanish women’s topflight league.

After finishing second in the Golden Boot race last season, the Copper Queens’ striker will go to any length to win the Spanish Women’s Top Scorers Award.

Kundananji was two goals short of winning the prestigious individual award after scoring 25 goals less than the eventual winner and Spain’s Alba Redondo’s 27.
