Green Buffaloes Women’s Football Club (GBWFC) coach Charles Haalubono is set to join Yanga Princesses.
Haalubono has been GBWFC coach for over 15 years and has won the Lusaka Provincial Women’s League 6 times. He also won the last two FAZ Women’s Super League titles and the COSAFA Women’s Champions League.
Haalubono, also the Zambia Women’s under-20 coach, will replace Yanga Princesses head coach Sebastian Nkoma, who left the club on mutual agreement in March this year.
Sources close to the deal have told Bolanews that Haalubono, a serving soldier in the Zambia Army, has already been cleared by his employees to sign a one-year contract with the Tanzanian side.
“Yes currently the coach is already in Tanzania and everything is concluded, it’s a done deal. He is expected to sign a one year Lucrative contract and already cleared by the authorities,” revealed the source.
