In a thrilling 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup match, France veteran defender Wenddie Renard made a decisive header that propelled Les Bleus to the top of Group F.

Eugenie Le Sommer scored the first goal in the first half, but it was soon canceled out by Debinha’s impressive effort.

After a successful 4-0 victory against Panama in their opening match, Brazil aimed to dominate their European rivals. However, Herve Renard’s side proved to be a formidable opponent and managed to secure all three points.

Les Bleus drew 0-0 in their first game against Jamaica and the win was vital for their campaign with coach Renard recording his first victory at the Women’s World Cup.
