US Lecce remained above the relegation zone following a 3-2 win over Sassuolo in which Lameck Banda assisted a goal with a perfect delivery. No Lecce player has more goals (4) or assists (4) in the Serie A than Banda this season. The club needs to equal or better Cremonese’s result on the final day to maintain their top-flight status.

Cagliari Calcio loanee Kingstone Mutandwa ended his league campaign with 14 goals in 29 matches. He came on as a second-half substitute in a 2-0 loss to Altach. Elsewhere, Edward Chilufya was an unused substitute for Midtjylland on the final day of the Danish Superliga.

In Tanzania, Clatous Chama scored for the fifth consecutive match in all competitions, finding the back of the net as Simba walloped TRA United 4-0 in the Federation Cup quarterfinals.

Hamansenya returns from injury to make Czech debut; Kangwa within touching distance of Israeli league title

David Hamansenya made his debut for Artis Brno in the Czech National League with a 10-minute cameo vs. Viktoria Zizkov, having recovered from a groin injury. Elsewhere, Miguel Changa Chaiwa delivered a great performance for Hibernian despite a 1-0 defeat against Motherwell, which cost them UEFA Europa Conference League qualification.

Chaiwa made the most tackles (4), won the most duels (12), and was fouled the most times (4) in the match.

Kings Kangwa provided the assist for Hapoel Be’er Sheva’s first goal in a 2-0 triumph over Hapoel Tel Aviv in Ligat Ha’Al. Hapoel Be’er Sheva are top of the Israeli Premier League with two games left.

In Armenia, Joseph Sabobo Banda played the first half for Alashkert, while Ricky Chanda and Benjamin Chisala earned starts for Nomme United in Estonia. Fashion Sakala and Al Fayha endured a 3-0 defeat to Damac in the Saudi Pro League.

Frankie Musonda, Katongo suffer relegation; Kalunga scores in Azerbaijan.

Frankie Musonda was an unused as Bahrain FC signed out of the Bahraini topflight with seven points won, and 56 goals conceded from 22 matches. The centre-back started 16 league matches and kept only one cleansheet. In Turkey, Jadel Katongo was named in the starting XI for relegated Kayserispor, who ended their campaign with a 2-1 win.

Over to Azerbaijan, Kenneth Kalunga netted his 15th goal of the season as ASTA Mingachevir beat MOIK 3-1 in the second tier. In Germany, Lubambo Musonda exited 1.FC Magdeburg’s final match of the Bundesliga II season in the 39th minute due to injury.
