Copper Queens Defender Chomba Joins Zesco Ndola Girls On Loan

Eden University Women’s Super League defending champions Zesco Ndola Girls have completed the signing of Zambia national team defender Jackline Chomba from ZISD FC on a short-term loan deal running until 31 December 2025.

Chomba, 26 finalized her loan move last week will play a key role in Zesco’s defense this season.

She is a COSAFA Women’s Championship winner with the Copper Queens, brings valuable international experience to the Ndola-based side as they aim to qualify for the CAF Women’s Champions League, with the COSAFA regional qualifiers scheduled for 22–31 August in South Africa.

Zesco is Group A, where they will face former champions Mamelodi Sundowns (South Africa), Ntopwa FC (Malawi), and Beauties FC (Namibia).

Head coach William Zulu will welcome the defender’s leadership and versatility at the back as Zesco bolster their squad for the continental push.
