Following their 0-2 win in the first game last Friday, the Zambia Women’s National Team ran riot in their second friendly match against Morocco on Tuesday night.
Rachael Kundananji and Barbra Banda scored hat-tricks to lead the Copper Queens to a 6-2 victory at the Prince Heritier Moulay El Hassan Sports Complex in Rabat against the Atlas Lionesses, who reached the knockout stage at the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup.
Banda scored her first goal of the night through a penalty before going on to score two more solo goals thanks to her incredible speed.

Morocco’s consolation goals came from Sakina Ouzraoui, who scored from the penalty spot and late in the game via a Rosela Ayane close-range strike.
Coach Bruce Mwape, who was unable to make the bench due to illness, made seven changes to the starting lineup that defeated Morocco in the first game.
Assistant coach Florence Mwila was in charge of the team and confirmed that Mwape was “unwell,” which is why he was not on the bench last night.

The Copper Queens will now shift attention to the 2023 COSAFA Women’s Championship, which will run from October 4–15, 2023. They are in Group B alongside Angola, Mozambique, and Comoros.
