All African teams in the top ten except Mali have dropped in the latest rankings, with Cameroon dropping twelve places from 56 to 68.

South Africa is the second country with the highest drop in Africa’s top ten, from 45 to 52 in the world but remains second on the continent.

Despite dropping one step in the latest FIFA world rankings, Zambia's Copper Queens have moved into sixth place in Africa from seventh.
