Indeni Roses Head Coach Rex Chanda is aiming to end Zesco United’s unbeaten run when they meet in their next Super league fixture.
The Roses defeated Nkwazi Queens 1-0 in a Week 31 fixture at Edwin Imboela stadium on Saturday.

With that away victory, Indeni have maintained their second slot on the Eden University Women’s Super League.
Edith Phiri’s 79th minute goal was enough to seal the victory for the visiting side.
The Ndola based side have recorded four consecutive victories in their previous four matches.
Indeni Roses will be seeking to finish in second position behind Champions elect-Zesco Ndola Girls.

The victory saw Indeni Roses move to 70 points, with three points above third placed Red Arrows women’s team.
Speaking to the Club’s media, Chanda praised his side for collecting three points away from home.
“Playing games with team’s that are below in the league is tricky and very difficult as you could see they came to frustrate us making sure that maybe a point could have been better for them, but we did well to make changes in the second half they made impact and we scored a goal,” he said.
“We Need To Stop Zesco” – Chanda
Meanwhile, The Roses boss said the victory has given the team confidence ahead of Zesco match.
“It’s good we won and especially that we have declared that we want to finish second and we have said we should not drop points at least the victory has taken us into Zesco with so much confidence and power to make sure that we stop Zesco from the unbeaten run they have,” added Chanda.
The Roses will face Zesco Ndola Girls in a Week 32 to seal their second position on the log standings.
