Manchester United’s Champions League hopes were dashed after twice blowing a lead to lose a 4-3 win to Copenhagen.
The defeat left the Red Devils bottom of Group A, and will now have to win their last two matches against Galatasaray and Bayern Munich.
Rasmus Hojlund’s brace had put United in command against his former club, but Marcus Rashford’s red card after committing a foul sparked an incredible comeback as Copenhagen broke United’s hearts.
The Man Utd Nightmare
Disaster followed shortly after Rashford was sent off, with United leading 0-2 as Mohamed Elyounoussi scored before Diogo Goncalves levelled from the spot after a Harry Maguire handball.
In the second half, Bruno Fernandes’ penalty put United back ahead, only for Lukas Lerager to level again and substitute Bardghji to seal an incredible 4-3 comeback victory for Copenhagen.
