Manchester City Vs Real Madrid prediction, preview and betting tips

Man City host Real Madrid at the Eithad Stadium for the second leg of their UEFA Champions League semifinal tie following their 1-1 draw at the Santiago Bernabéu last week.

A victory for either side tonight will be enough to join Inter Milan in the Champions League final.

Manchester City have only recorded one loss in their last five meetings with Real Madrid in the UEFA Champions League (W3 D1).

The Cityzens were winless in their first four games against them in the competition between 2012 and 2016 (D2 L2) and will be hoping to knock the 13-time European Champions out of the competition tonight.

Meanwhile, Los Blancos, on the other hand, are winless in their previous four away games against City in the UEFA Champions League (D2 L2), losing each of the last two.

Head-to-Head (Last Five Games)

Manchester City: 3 wins
Real Madrid: 1 win
Draws: 1

Form (Last Five Games)

Manchester City: Win-Draw-Win-Win-Win
Real Madrid : Win-Draw-Win-Lose-Win

Players to watch

Vinicius Junior (Real Madrid) – In 11 Champions League games, he has 7 goals and 5 assists for Los Blancos. Only once this season has the Brazilian failed to score or assist in a Champions League game, against Shakhtar Donetsk in the group stage. He scored Madrid’s only goal in the first leg at Bernabéu. He will be one to cause problems for City defenders tonight.

Erling Haaland (Man City)–  Undoubtedly the deadliest striker on the planet. So far this season, the Norwegian has 52 goals in all competitions. He is currently the Premier League’s top scorer with (36goals in 33 games) and the Champions League’s top scorer with (12 goals in 8 games). He’s definitely giving Madrid shivers.

BETTING TIP: Try a double chance for either team to win and both teams to score. (12GG)

ODDS: 2.35

NOTE: Odds are subject to change. 18+
