Lecce are sitting 15th on the Italian Serie-A log standings having only managed to secure a point from their last three matches in which they have also only scored two goals resulting in two consecutive losses and one draw.
The yellow and Reds last met Napoli on the 9th September 2020 in a match which saw Napoli lose at home with a shocking 2-3 score line.
However, in their last ten meetings, Napoli has won six matches, with two going in favor of Lecce while the remaining two ended in a draw.
Napoli will tonight look to revenge their home lose to Lecce back in 2020 and hope to go on top the log standings with win while Lecce will aim to record their first win of the season.
Meanwhile, Chipolopolo winger Lameck Banda who was handed his first start in the Italian serie A last Sunday, could again start for Lecce tonight after impressing in Lecce’s 1-1 draw with Empoli at home.
Banda played 73 minutes and managed to make a total number of 29 touches, three crosses and three total shots out of which two were on target and one was blocked. He also made four successful dribbles out of five attempts, more than anyone else in his team and that could earn him another start in Marco Baroni’s starting eleven.
