Lameck Banda and his US Lecce side have for the first time this season gone three matches unbeaten in the Italian Serie A.
The newly promoted side that managed to record their first win before the international break when they defeated Salernitana 1-2, came from behind to draw 1-1 with Cremonese in a match that saw Banda play 90’ minutes and complete the most dribbles (3).

Lecce conceded a penalty early in the 19th minute which was converted by Daniel Ciofani but lucky was on their side when they also won a penalty which Gabriel Streffezza made no mistake as he slotted home the equalizer with a right footed shot to the bottom right corner.

It was Lecce’s third unbeaten match in the Italian top flight having lost three times, drawn four times and only managed one win this season.
The club’s main objective this season is to avoid relegation and they seem to be on the right track as they are now sitting on 7 points in 13th position ,four steps above the relegation zone after 8 games.
