Fashion Sakala inspired Rangers FC to a 2-1 victory over German side Hamburg in a pre-season friendly on Saturday.
Sakala put up an impressive performance as he broke the deadlock in the first half when he capitalized on their opponent’s defensive errors.
His goal and a James Tavernier penalty made the difference against the Germany second-tier club who got a consolation goal towards the end of the game through substitute Jean-Luc Dompe.
Sakala was also involved in the second goal, as he was brought into the box to win a penalty.
His performance on the night thrilled his coach Michael Beale.
“Fashion got a goal, and I am pleased with him,” he said in a post-match interview with Rangers Tv.
