Saudi Arabian Chipolopolo forward Fashion Sakala is constructing a secondary school, in Mbenjere, Eastern Province, in Chipangala District, as he aims to empower children in his native village with quality education through safe infrastructure.

The 26-year-old announced the development on Thursday through a Facebook post. Sakala is also sponsoring the ongoing K700,000-worth Eastern Province.

Saakala said the construction of the school commenced in 2021 after it was approved by the Zambian government.

“I have a strong belief in the transformative power of education to unlock opportunities and pave the way for a brighter future for the children of Zambia,” Sakala said in a Facebook post.

“The vision of Fashion Sakala Secondary School transcends just the buildings. It embodies a commitment to empowering the children of Zambia with access to quality education and safe infrastructure.”
