  • Sakala scored a solo goal in his first start under the new Rangers FC coach.
  • The Rangers forward has been accused of circulating nude pictures of an ex-lover.
  • Sakala has now scored two goals this season in the Scottish Premiership.

Zambian rapid forward Fashion Sakala, who has in the past three days been at the center of controversy, made a huge statement last night during Rangers FC’s 3-2 comeback win over Hibernian at Ibrox in the Scottish Premiership.

Sakala came under fire on social media when it was reported that his purported ex-girlfriend is suing him for publishing her nude images.

The lady, identified as Linnety Kaoma, claimed the Rangers FC forward sent her younger sister a nude photo of someone who looks like her before deleting it.

She also disclosed that she and Sakala had a four-year, intimate relationship that ended in May 2022. During that time, she used to engage in virtual intimacy with him and has accused the former Zanaco FC striker of secretly taking screenshots of her unclothed body.

Linnety is requesting that the court issue her an order that forbids the Chipolopolo Boys star and his representatives from violating her privacy and disseminating insulting material featuring her likeness.

However, in the midst of the social media backlash, Sakala scored a stunning solo goal for his Rangers team last night to silence his critics.

It was his fourth start of the season in the Scottish Premiership, after only appearing in six of a possible 15 games under former coach Giovanni van Bronckhorst and making three starts.

It was also his first start under new coach Michael Beale, which saw him score his second goal of the season.

Despite a lack of playing time under the previous coach, the Chipolopolo forward promised to score more goals this season and more than double his tally from the previous season, when he scored 12 goals and provided seven assists in 50 appearances.
