Forest Myooye FC head coach Evaristo Mkandawire, has attended CAF A license workshop, an advanced tactical training knowledge and modern football methodologies needed to compete in the evolving game.
The Elite training program ran from June 1 to 8th June, 2026 in Botswana.
Mkandawire, currently serves as Zambia Under-15 national team coach.
He said the course has exposed participants to intensive theoretical and practical sessions aimed at improving their understanding of modern football.
“So far so good, with a lot of assignments, presentations, and practical work on the pitch,” Mkandawire said.
“To be elite coaches with a lot of tactical understanding and game-reading strategies.”
Mkandawire noted that football continues to evolve rapidly due to changing tactical trends and technological advancements, making continuous learning essential for coaches.
“Football is evolving with a lot of dynamics and advanced technology, hence the need to cope with modern coaching methods and useful traits that can improve and develop a player,” he said.
The CAF A Licence is one of the highest football coaching qualifications on the continent.
