Donewell Yobe, the head coach of Kansanshi Dynamos Football Club, lost his job after his team was relegated from the Zambian Super League. With 35 points, the Mabanga Boys finished 17th on the log.

Yobe took over from Boyd Mulwanda in November 2023 but failed to maintain the club’s status in the Super League. In 23 matches, Yobe guided Kansanshi Dynamos to six victories, five draws including 12 defeats.

Before the team begins preparation for the National Division One League season, the club will name Yobe’s replacement, according to a statement.

“Kansanshi Dynamos Football Club wishes to announce that the club will not continue with the services of Head Coach Donewell Yobe for the coming season,” the club stated.
