Barcelona survived a scare against Villarreal in a 7-goal thriller thanks to late goals from Robert Lewandoski and Feran Torres.
When the Catalan giants played Villarreal at the Estadio de la Ceramica for their third League match of the year, they were aiming to win two straight La Liga matches.
Barcelona scored first thanks to a fantastic header from Gavi that beat Philip Jorgensen after Lamine Yamal provided the assist.
Three minutes later, Barcelona slipped another past the 21-year-old short-stopper as Frankie De Jong pounced on a rebound 15 minutes into the game to give the La Liga Champions a commanding lead.
Then, shortly before halftime, Villarreal awoke from their nap with two goals in the span of 14 minutes to tie the game at two.
Alfonso Pedraza sent a lovely pass to Alex Baena in the penalty area ten minutes into the second half, giving the hosts their first lead of the game.
Feran Torres, who came on in the 68th minute to tie the score for Barcelona, which has been behind archrival Real Madrid so far this season, made an immediate effect.
