Tunisia held Denmark to a goalless draw in their World Cup opener in Group D.

The North Africans put up an unexpected match against a Danish side that won all their first 8 World Cup qualification games without conceding a goal.

Despite many predicting a win for the European side, the two were evenly matched as both shared a good number of chances.

Tunisian goalkeeper Aymen Dahmen was the standout player of the match having made 5 crucial saves for his side.

The Jalel Kadri coached side will aim to increase their hopes of advancing to the round of 16 when they face Australia in their second group before clashing with World Champions France in their final group stage match.
