Erik ten Hag is aiming for his second trophy in his debut season at Manchester United, after winning the Carabao Cup and finishing third in the Premier League.

Pep Guardiola and his City side, on the other hand, will aim to move closer to completing the treble after winning the Premier League, with the Champions League final against Inter on the wait.

City has only won the FA Cup twice, while United is the second-most successful team in the competition’s history, trailing only Arsenal (14), with an incredible 12 trophies.

Despite their recent dominance in the Premier League, City has yet to replicate their success in the FA’s Premier Cup competition, winning the trophy twice since their rise to prominence.

City defeated United 6-3 in the Premier League in October, but the Red Devils avenged that defeat in the reverse fixture with a 2-1 victory at Old Trafford in January.
