Manchester city coach Peo Guardiola has said he was not satisfied with way his team played on Sunday afternoon in the Manchester derby.
Guardiola said some of his players were not good enough and there is a need for improvements despite his side recording a 6-3 victory over rivals Manchester United FC.
“Some of my players were not good enough. We conceded there goals which is not good. We obviously need improvements,” he said after the match.
City thumped United for the third time consecutively in the Manchester derby with hat-tricks from Norwegian youngster Erling Haaland and Phil Fooden who made the Citizens become only the third club to have two players score hat-tricks in a single Premier League match, enough to claim the bragging rights and maximum three points.
Perhaps 51 million pounds was not enough for Haaland who has continued to be a menace in a City shirt as the Manchester United defense could not stop him from scoring his 14th goal in 8 English Premier League matches.
The Norwegian has now scored a total of 17 goals in 11 appearances for City.
City may have continued their dominance but conceded three goals in the second half with Antony and Anyony martial reducing the deficit which was not enough to overturn the scoreline as Cristiano Ronaldo watched the entire match from the bench.
