Liverpool vs Everton- Prediction

Liverpool has not been in the ascendancy this season in the Premier League and finds themselves in an unlikely position.

From finishing second in the league and being Champions League finalists last season, they are now 10th on the table.

Liverpool have only won one match across competitions in their last five fixtures.

A victory for Jurgen Klopp’s men tonight will push them to 9th on the table, a point above fellow strugglers Chelsea.

Everton, on the other hand, are currently fighting to stay ashore in the league and are 18th in the standings.

They have a chance to go out of the red zone with a victory over their bitter rivals.

The Toffees should be high on confidence following their 1-0 victory over leaders Arsenal in their last league match.

Liverpool has lost just one of their last 22 home league games against Everton (W12 D9), going down 2-0 in February 2021.

Their first meeting this season ended in a 0-0 draw and bragging rights as well as vital points will be up for grabs.

Recently appointed Everton manager Sean Dyche faces an uphill battle to cause another upset but will he prevail?

BETTING TIP: Go for a double chance (1X) for Liverpool to win or draw with both teams to score at least one goal each.
