Norwegian forward Erling Haaland scored his 25th goal of the season to help Manchester City beat Wolves. This closes the gap on league leaders Arsenal to two points.
After three matches without scoring against Tottenham Hotspurs on Thursday last week, Haaland hit the net three times on Sunday to extend his lead on the league scorers chart.
The 22-year-old now has 28 goal involvements (25 goals + 3 assists) in just 19 appearances this season.
Meanwhile, multiple fans have claimed the former Red Bull Salzburg and Dortmund striker is turning the English Premier League into a “farmers league,”. as he seems to be unstoppable, having already beaten the tally of last season’s top scorers Mohammed Salah and Son Heung-Min (23).
The City talisman has also broken Dutch and former Manchester United forward Rudy Van Nistelrooy’s record for the fastest Premier League hat-trick in 65 appearances.
Haaland has broken that record with 19 appearances fewer.
