Chipolopolo striker Jack Kalichi Lahne has won the Austrian 2. Liga title with Austria Lustenau following a 2-1 victory over Amstetten on the final matchday on Thursday.
The 24-year-old netted the opening goal of the match, helping Lustenau secure promotion to the Austrian Bundesliga. Lahne received a brilliant pass from Bouchenna and fired the ball into the bottom left corner for what proved to be the decisive strike.
Lustenau’s top scorer contributed nine goals in 28 matches en route to the league title.
With his contract set to expire on 30 June 2026, Lahne will become a free agent next month, though Lustenau are expected to open negotiations over an extension.
Meanwhile, Lahne will be eyeing a return to the Chipolopolo squad ahead of the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifiers, which kick off in September.
The Lusaka-born striker, formerly a Swedish youth international, made his senior Zambia debut in November 2025 as a substitute against South Africa before scoring his first international goal in his debut start against Angola.
