For the third consecutive match, Fashion Sakala Jr. was on the scoresheet for Al Fayha, doubling their lead in a 2-0 victory over Al Fateh in the Saudi Pro League.

A left winger cutting inside, doing some stepovers before unleashing a thunderbolt into the top corner would be easily mistaken for prime Cristiano Ronaldo. But it was Sakala scoring a goal that his idol would be proud of.

Off to Scotland where Sakala once reigned supreme, Chanka Zimba scored a brace for Inverness Caledonian Thistle, who came from behind to beat Alloa Athletic 3-1 in Scottish League One. The striker has 15 goals in 15 starts this season across all club competitions.

Mutandwa at the double, Kings Kangwa registers assist

Kingstone Mutandwa netted two goals for SV Ried in a club friendly, inspiring them to a resounding 4-1 win against Austria Salzburg. Over at his parent club, Cagliari Calcio, compatriot Joseph Liteta was left out of the matchday squad for their clash vs. Fiorentina.

Meanwhile, US Lecce got a much-deserved point against Lazio with Lameck Bandaplaying the first 64 minutes of the encounter. In Israel, Kings Kangwa set up Or Blorian’s goal as Hapoel Be’er Sheva posted a 3-2 victory over Kiryat Shmona.

Elsewhere, Patson Daka played his last minutes under Marti Cifuentes, who got sacked in the aftermath of a humiliating home loss to Oxford United.

Chaiwa starts for the first time in 2026, Hamansenya debuts for Artis Brno

Miguel Changa Chaiwa made his first league start of the year, clocking 90 minutes in Hibernian’s 4-1 defeat to Falkirk. Meanwhile, Songa Chipyoka lasted 80 minutes for Hapoel Petah Tikva, who lost 2-1 in the Ligat Ha’Al.

Artis Brno fielded new signing David Hamansenya during a club friendly vs KS Cracovia in Poland. He played the entire second half of a 2-2 draw. On the other hand, Emmanuel Banda started for Maccabi Bney Reine in the Israeli Premier League.

Chama makes debut for Simba SC in the Champions League, Toaster benched vs. Orlando Pirates

Clatous Chama made his third debut for Simba SC in the CAF Champions League appearing as a substitute during a 1-0 loss to Esperance de Tunis. Meanwhile, Joshua Mutale was unavailable for the continental assignment.

In South Africa, Ghampani Lungu played the first 80 minutes of Siwelele FC’s 1-1 draw with Richards Bay FC. Toaster Nsabata watched Sekhukhune United prevent Orlando Pirates from going top of the league after a goalless stalemate while Cyril Chibwe did not feature for Orbit College vs Chippa United owing to an injury.

Jack Lahne features for Austria Lustenau, Rodrick Kabwe keeps cleansheet

Jack Lahne played the last half hour of Austria Lustenau’s 2-1 win against Swiss third tier outfit Bruhl St Gallen in a club friendly. Defenders Lubambo Musonda and Jadel Katongo were unused substitutes for 1.FC Magdeburg in Germany and Kayserispor in Turkey, respectively.
