Toaster Nsabata has said Chipolopolo cannot ‘dance’ yet despite sitting in a qualifying slot of Group G of the 2025 Morocco Africa Cup of Nations (AfCON) qualifier.

Nsabata gave a near-man-of-the-match performance in the 1-0 win over Chad, securing the three points for Zambia when he saved a penalty six minutes before full time.

Chipolopolo were given the lead by Kennedy Musonda in the 70th minute. However, Nsabata turned hero in the 84th minute after denying the hosts from the spot.

The focus for Chipolopolo is now on November 11 when they host group favourites and defending champions Ivory Coast who were stunned by Sierra Leone 1-0.

They will then travel to Sierra Leone four days later for their final match in the qualifiers.

Looking at those matches, Nsabata has urged his teammates to remain level-headed.

“We just have to remain focused in these two remaining games,” he told BolaNews in an interview. “We don’t have to dance too much because we still have a lot of work.”

Nsabata believes Ivory Coast will come to Zambia with all guns blazing.

“We play Ivory Coast at home and it will be not an easy game as they will come to prove that they are the 2023/24 champions.”

Meanwhile, the Zesco United shot-stopper said he was pleased with his performance, crediting it to hard work in training.
