It was yet another weekend packed with football action as some of Zambia’s top talents plying their trade outside the country got minutes at their respective clubs.

6. FRANKIE MUSONDA
The Chipolopolo defender captained his side for the second time in a row and put up an impressive 90 minutes shift for Ayr United that suffered a 2-1 defeat in the Scottish Championship.
Musonda is the only Zambian player abroad who is yet to start from the bench as he has played all of Ayr’s matches and kept five clean sheets for the championship side that is looking to gain promotion to the Premiership.
5. FRANCISCO MWEPU
Francisco Mwepu was impressive again for Spanish side Cadiz B team as he found the back of the net.
He scored for the second time consecutively for the Cadiz B side that was held to a 1-1 draw against Xerez DFC in the Segunda B.
4. EMMANUEL BANDA
After impressing in the Europa Conference League in a middle-week fixture against KAA Gent in which he scored his second goal in the competition, Banda was handed another start in the swedish league on Sunday.
The Chipolopolo midfielder played 90 minutes and won 8 duels out of 12, 3 successful tackles and clearances for his Djurgadern IF side that suffered a 1-2 defeat at home to AIK.
3. PATSON DAKA
Daka was also handed his fourth Premier League start of the season on Saturday after scoring back-to-back against Nottingham Forest and Bournemouth for the Leicester City side that has continued to struggle in the league having only won one game so far this season.
He played for 64 minutes and made 24 touches on the ball with only one short on target before he was subbed off and replaced by Jamie Vardy in a match that ended Leicester City 0-0 Crystal Place at the King Power stadium.
2.LUBAMBO MUSONDA
Despite his AC Horsens side suffering a 2-1 defeat to Midtylland in the Danish Superligaen, Musonda scored his third league goal of the season.
He played 90 minute and was the highest rated player in his team with a 7.6 rating.
1.MOSES PHIRI
Our number one performer from last weekend is Tanzanian-based striker Moses Phiri.
Phiri scored his fifth CAF Champions League goal of the season for the Simba SC side that defeated Angola’s Primeiro de Agosto 1-0 to qualify for the group stage of the continent’s biggest club competition with a 4-1 aggregate scoreline.
It was his fourth appearance in the competition for the Tanzanian giants, with the former Zanaco FC frontman’s tally now standing at 9 goals in 9 games across all competitions so far this season.
