Zambian National Team striker, Fashion Sakala, has come under fire on social media when it was reported that his purported ex-girlfriend is suing him for publishing her nude images.

The lady, Linnety Kaoma, claims the Rangers FC forward sent her younger sister a nude photo of someone who looks like her before deleting it.

She also disclosed that she and Sakala had a four-year, intimate relationship that ended in May 2022. During that time, she used to engage in virtual intimacy with him and has accused the former Zanaco FC striker of secretly taking screenshots of her unclothed body.

Linnety is requesting that the court issue her an order that forbids the Chipolopolo Boys star and his representatives from violating her privacy and disseminating insulting material featuring her likeness.

Meanwhile, many fans, the majority of those from Zambia, have taken to social media to slam the Scotland-based star, who has opted to remain silent on the issue amid the controversy.

A Facebook user, Yadah M. Mumeka, wrote, “The oath of secrecy is very important. Even when you are no longer together, just seal your mouth.”

Another one Mulenga Mutale defended the striker and wrote, “She just wants to paint black his name… you celebrities be careful with these gold diggers… these are ladies who are just after you men.”

“This might cost Sakala looking at how it cost Benzema he should handle it fast these ladies can make you fail in life,” wrote Shydon Ntebeka Jr.

Despite all the turmoil, Sakala, who had missed Zambia’s friendly match against Israel during the most recent international break due to injury, posted on his Facebook page to confirm his return to full fitness and shared his signature catchphrase, “Dreams don’t die.”

“God bless. Happy to be back and fully recovered. DREAMS DON’T DIE. FS10. GOD BLESS YOU ALL! Read Deuteronomy 31:6.” he posted.
