Chipolopolo defender Frankie Musonda is the only Zambian player in Europe to start all the matches for his club and played 90 minutes in all of them.

The British-born center back was also on Saturday named as captain for the Ayr United side that recorded a 5-0 victory over Queen’s Park in the Scottish Championship.
The honour to wear the armband for the team comes barely four months after joining the club from Raith Rovers prior to the start of the season.

He has played all the last 9 league matches for United in the Scottish championship without being substituted having played a total of 810 minutes.
The defender has maintained three clean sheet so far for his side who are now second on the log standings with 17 points, level with leaders Partrick Thistle and hoping to finish strong and gain promotion to the Premiership.

Musonda made his competitive Chipolopolo debut in June this year against Ivory coast in the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers and has so far been capped four times by Zambia.
He has quickly cemented his position in the Zambian national team that is seeking to return to the Africa cup of Nations after missing three times.
