Musonda who joined Luton Town at the age of eight and progressed through the club’s youth system, was key in ensuring Zambia returned to the Cup of Nations for the first time in eight years.

He played all five games in the qualifiers including the three back-to-back wins against Lesotho and Ivory Coast.

Musonda was promoted to the Luton Town under-18 team and named captain in 2014. He led the team to their Youth Alliance South East title as well as the Youth Alliance Cup triumph.

He also helped them reach the quarter-finals of the FA Youth Cup, in which they lost 1–0 to Blackburn Rovers.

Musonda was included in Luton Town’s first-team squad in a League Two match against Northampton Town in 2015 for the first time.

He later made a permanent move to Scottish Championship side, Raith Rovers in 2020 before joining his current club Ayr United in 2021.

Meanwhile, in recent tweet replies, Musonda and Luton Town’s official Twitter handler have left fans fantasizing about a reunion.
