The Chipolopolo have maintained their position at 90th in the latest FIFA World Rankings despite not featuring during the recent FIFA international windows.
Zambia has not played a FIFA-recognized match since April 1, when they suffered a 5-0 defeat to defending world champions Argentina.
The loss saw Chipolopolo drop 0.86 ranking points, but it was not enough to cause any further slide in the standings.
In the latest rankings released on the opening day of the ongoing FIFA World Cup, Zambia remains 90th with 1,255.82 points, trailing top-ranked Argentina by 621.45 points.
Meanwhile, Morocco remains the only African nation in the top 10, occupying seventh position.
European champions Spain are ranked second, followed by France in third place.
England, still chasing a first major trophy since 1966, sits fourth, while Cristiano Ronaldo’s Portugal is fifth.
Five-time world champions Brazil are sixth, with the Netherlands in eighth place. Belgium and Germany complete the top 10 in ninth and 10th positions, respectively.
