Serbian giants Red Star Belgrade have rejected English Premier League side Nottingham Forest’s €3 million bid for Zambian midfielder Kings Kangwa, Bolanews sources have revealed.
Kangwa wishes to leave the club before the transfer window closes. However, it is understood that Red Star intends to keep him for their UEFA Champions League campaign this season.
The 24-year-old Chipolopolo midfielder joined them last summer from Russia’s Arsenal Tula. He scored 12 goals and had six assists in his first season at the club across all competitions.
In April of this year, he told Bolanews in an exclusive interview that he was set to leave the Serbian club this summer.

Apart from Nottingham Forest, Red Star has also turned down offers from other European clubs that have not been named.
BolaNews has been reliably informed that the player is eager to make a move this summer.
