Zambia’s Kennedy Musondas scored in the CAF Champions League for Young Africans against Asas on Sunday in the Preliminary round.
Musonda scored the second goal in the 53rd minute to give his side an advantage heading into the second leg.
The 28-year-old striker joined the Tanzanian giants last season from Power Dynamos and has been impressive.
He scored three goals and provided three assists in nine CAF Confederations Cup games last season.
The Chipolopolo striker helped his club win the league title and reach the finals of the CAF Confederation Cup.

As the Chipolopolo Boys prepare to take on Comoros in the final round of the 2024 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) tournament, Musonda will be hoping to be part of Avram Grant’s squad.
He was called for the back-to-back fixtures against Lesotho in March this year but was an unused substitute.
He missed the Ivory Coast clash in June, which Zambia won by three goals to nil to secure their qualification for the AFCON.
Zambia will compete in the Africa Cup for the first time since being eliminated in the group stage in 2015.
