Mohammed Kudus

Mohammed Kudus’ talent was on show again as Ajax Amsterdam secured a 4-2 win at Heerenveen in the Dutch Eredivisie.

Just 10 minutes into the match, the Ghanaian winger calmly slotted in the opening goal for the away side. The 22-year-old then turned provider when he set up a ferocious strike from Edson Alvarez to double the lead.

The Dutch champions were already out of sight for Heerenveen after Steven Berjwijn added a third after only 19 minutes. The home side responded with two goals, but it was not enough as Ajax ran out 4-2 winners on Sunday.

“Kudus is worth one billion euros”—fans react

Fans and pundits alike were mesmerized by the performance of Kudus, who was named “King of the Match.”

@_Wopre_dodo wrote, “Another normal day for Mohammed Kudus to show us his quality. The goals keep coming. Ajax has got a gem. He’s a superstar!”

Another fan, @Hanif_Guy, lauded: “Currently the best player in Africa. Mohammed Kudus.”

@iamyourspec adds, “Ajax are preparing themselves for a big cashout. If Antony was 100 million, the Kudus would be 300 million.”

The Black star’s electric performances have attracted a lot of clubs across Europe, including that of his former manager Eric Ten Hag.

He and his side will host league leaders Feyenoord next Sunday, where a win will take them to the top of the standings.
