Dauda was on the books of Black Rhinos until he was diagnosed with tuberculosis (TB).

The defender is now back to full fitness and ready to bounce back with reports in Zimbabwe linking him with Premiership side TelOne and Kwewe-based side Hardrock.

Dauda did not reveal his next club after regaining full fitness.

“When I left Black Rhinos, I stopped playing due to a health issue. But I am okay now and ready to make a return,” Dauda told Zimpapers Sports Hub. “For now, I can’t talk about the identity of my next club, but I have a number of options.”

“I’m still around. My career has had its own ups and downs, but I enjoyed my ups more because there were too many good things that happened.

“There were some bad things that happened during my career, but I cannot talk about it now.”

In the Zambian Super League, Dauda joined Lusaka Dynamos in 2018 before signing a three-year deal with Napsa Stars in 2020. He competed with the Pensioners in the CAF Confederation Cup.

Dauda had a remarkable season in the league, helping ZPC Kariba almost win a historic Premiership title in their first season in 2014.

ZPC Kariba, then under the guidance of Saul Chaminuka, went into the last round fixture needing a victory to win the championship title.
