The Zambia Women’s National team have dropped one step on the latest October FIFA ranking.

The Copper Queens who were one of the biggest climbers in August after climbing 23 steps from 103 to 80 have now dropped down to 81.

The girls did not have a FIFA-recognized engagement since August with their supposed friendly match during the last international break against the Netherlands cancelled due to logistical glitches.

Despite the drop in the latest rankings, they have maintained their position as the 10th-ranked women’s national team in Africa with Nigeria also still ranked number one and South Africa sitting in the second position.

Meanwhile the United states of America women’s team have maintained their top spot as the World’s number one ranked.
