Clatous Chama, a midfielder for Chipolopolo, is one of four important players that Tanzanian powerhouse Simba Sports Club is expected to leave at the end of the current campaign.
According to Dar es Salaam media reports, Chama, Kibu Dennis, and Mzamiru Yassin’s contracts are up this season, and there have been no discussions with the club about their futures.
With three months left on their contracts, the players are free to enter into negotiations with other interested clubs.
Some players’ contracts are coming to an end at the conclusion of the current Tanzanian Premier League season, according to Simba SC Information Officer Ahmed Ally.
“It’s true that the players’ contracts will expire at the end of the season. However, we will not let them go, as we expect to discuss the matter with the players,” Ally said.
According to The Citizen, Azam Football Club assistant coach Yousuph Dabo has openly admired Chama’s skills and intelligence.
