Zambia will play its first Group G match away to AfCON defending Champions, Cote d’Ivoire before hosting Sierra Leone from September 2–10, completing the qualification schedule for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations.

Zambia and Ivory Coast have met ten times since 1974 across all competitions with the Chipolopolo recording, six victories and losing three times while one game ended in a draw.

Reacting to the draws, Ivory Coast’s head coach, Émerse Faé admitted that Zambia is a difficult team to face.

“Zambia is a very difficult team to play. They have some really good players, especially offensively fast players. Defensively, it’s athletic and tough.

In the October window, the 2012 African Champions will play Chad in back-to-back fixtures starting with the home fixture before traveling to Ndjamena. The October window will run from October 7-15.

Zambia will play Cote d’Ivoire at home in the final window of November before traveling to play Sierra Leone away.
