Musore will join the Swallows squad for their upcoming international friendlies against Kenya and Indonesia during the FIFA window.

The striker joined Eagles from Burundi’s Musongati at the start of the season. He has managed to find the back of the net twice this season.

Burundi is in Group C of the Ivory Coast 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers alongside Cameroon and Namibia.

The Burundian player has since expressed his delight at receiving his first call-up to the national team.

Musore said he feels greatly honored to be called for international duty.

“It is very good for the team [Green Eagles] and myself to receive the national team call-up, and I’m greatly honored to play for the national team; it’s an honor for me,” he said.

Musore is confident he will contribute positively to the Burundian side just like he has been doing for Green Eagles.

“This is the first time that I got the national team call up. And the same way I have been playing here for the Green Eagles is the same way I’m going to play in the national team. I will continue working hard,” concluded Musore.
