The draw for the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations was conducted on Thursday night in Abjan, Cote d’Ivoire
The 24 qualified countries were placed in six groups of four teams.
In Group A, hosts Cote d’Ivoire were paired with regional rivals Nigeria, Equatorial Guinea, and Guinea-Bissau.
Defending champions Senegal were drawn in Group C against Cameroon, Guinea, and debutants Gambia.
Seven-time winners of the competition, Egypt will face Ghana, Cape Verde, and Mozambique in Group B.

Meanwhile, 2022 FIFA World Cup semi-finalists Morocco were pitted in Group F alongside DR Congo, Zambia, and Tanzania.
The tournament will kick off from January 13 to February 11, 2023, in Cote d’Ivoire
