Following their qualification for the 2025 ABSA Cup quarterfinals, Red Arrows head coach Chisi Mbewe believes his team is more motivated moving ahead.
Defending Champions Red arrows secured their spot in the ABSA Cup after they defeated Mpulungu Harbor 6-1 in the round of 16 at the Godfrey Ucar Chitalu Stadium.

The Airmen punished the National Division One side to revive their hopes of defending their ABSA Cup title.
Arrows will now seek to maintain their winning momentum in their upcoming fixtures.

Speaking to journalists after the match, Red arrows head coach, Chisi Mbewe expressed happiness with the team’s performance.
“We wanted to score more goals just to build our confidence and we did it,”he said.
“It’s a great motivation to keep us going and set the foundation for the upcoming games, ”Mbewe added.
The Red Arrows gaffer believes his team has the quality to defend the ABSA Cup title.

“The most important thing is this game is water under the bridge we go back into preparation for the Quarter finals and improve in the areas we did not do well and ensure that we keep our dreams of defending the trophy alive,” Mbewe said.
Meanwhile, Red arrows will meet winners between Green Eagles and Prison Leopards in the Quarter final stage of the tournament.
