A mouthwatering semifinal clash between Zesco United and Nkana awaits the ABSA Cup after the latter beat Kansanshi Dynamos 3 – 2 at post-match penalties.
Goalkeeper Patrick Chooma was at his usual best during the shootout saving two penalties to give Nkana the advantage.

The result left a bitter taste in the mouth Zeddy Saileti who claimed the better team lost.
“The boys accounted for themselves well, the boys were very courageous, penalties are like a raffle anyone can win.
“Of course, the better team lost at the end of the day we did well than Nkana I expected Nkana to perform but they didn’t perform today,” Saileti said.
Kansanshi started the shootouts on a promising note when Dave Daka scored but Idris Mbombo also converted for Nkana.

Kansanshi captain Rogers Lukonde fumbled his effort Francis Zulu made no mistake for Nkana.
Chooma, who was the hero in the shoot against Roan United denied Kelvin Chishimba’s but Kansanshi keeper Gregory Sanjase saved Charles Zulu’s kick.
Kansanshi clawed back in the spots when he scored for Kansanshi and Jacob Ngulube put Nkana back in front before Chooma decided the tie when he denied Kilonje Mwepu.
Nkana coach Mwenya Chipepo hailed his team for the win.
“We played a very tough game, Kansanshi are playing well at the moment, are skillful and intelligent so it wasn’t easy,” Chipepo said.
