Meanwhile, Mutondo stars head coach Zeddy Saileti expressed happiness with the team’s performance.

“For the team it’s very important we were looking forward for the three points, the game was tough we played a bigger team with very good technical bench, but am happy the boys expressed themselves and had alot of confidence,” said the coach.

Meanwhile, the former Nkana player believes the team is slowly gaining confidence and will become a team to reckon with in the Super league.

“Beating Nkana has given us confidence”-Zeddy.

“Alot of my boys have never attested Super Division, but again I have given them confidence the most important to play in the Super league is to keep the ball, if you can keep the ball then you can control the game”.

“For us it’s a big win, beating a big team like Nkana has given the boys a lot of confidence. We won’t sleep we have to go back to the drawing board; we have to plan again for the next game against MUZA, away, “concluded Saileti.

Mutondo Stars are currently in fourth position with four points after two games played, drawing with Green Eagles in their first match, then defeating Nkana.
