Chelsea are keen to keep young defender Levi Colwill from leaving the club, as interest builds from Brighton. Colwill has been on loan with the Seagulls the whole of last season, Brighton hope to make that move a permanent deal.
Brighton have already had a £30m bid turned down but are expected to improve that offer. Chelsea are hoping Colwill will sign a new deal at Stamford Bridge, with Kalidou Koulibaly’s exit helping to ensure more opportunities for game time.
