Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) forward Neymar is in Brazil as he recovers from an injury that saw him ruled out for the rest of this season.

The Brazilian star was present at Santos Copa Sudamericana match. And he later revealed that he wants to play for Santos again once he leaves PSG.

Neymar told Globoesporte that he has the desire to play again for Santos where he started his football career.

“I dream of playing for Santos again soon, imagine that.” he said after watching Santos in the stands.

The PSG star also expressed happiness being back home and watching his childhood team.

“It’s good to come back home. I feel at home here, very happy to be back here after ten years. Unfortunately, it was a draw, I wanted the win,” he said.

Neymar added that he came to the stadium to support Santos and to receive the affection of the fans.

“It was the club that gave me everything, that opened doors for me and my family, that introduced me to the world. I am very happy and happy to be here.”

Neymar’s contract with PSG will expire in 2025 and he could choose to stay at the French Ligue 1 side in an attempt to run down his deal before heading back to Brazil as a free agent.

But a number of publications in Europe have recently reported that the Brazilian may leave the Parisian club before his contract ends.
