Newcastle United is already in the final after defeating Southampton 3-1 on aggregate and will face either of the two teams on February 26th at Wembley Stadium.
The Red Devils will bank on striker Marcus Rashford’s incredible form to seal their qualification to the final especially since they head into the match with a 0-3 aggregate lead.
Eric Ten Hag is potentially only 180 minutes away from winning United’s first trophy since 2017. The possibility of a domestic double also remains alive after beating Reading 3-1 in the FA Cup.
United will be confident going into this game having scored 14 goals in their last six matches while conceding only six.
Nottingham Forest, on the other hand, will be hoping for the unthinkable: a comeback tonight.
The Steve Cooper side will be aiming to do something in the EFL Cup that no team has ever done before: come back from a three-goal deficit in the semi-finals.

However, this has been Forest’s best run in the EFL Cup in 31 years, having reached the final in 1991-92.
Former United strikers Jesse Lingard, Aurier, and Ryan Yates will be looking to inspire Forest to a historic comeback.
Meanwhile, United has dominated Forest in all since September 1996. The 0-3 result in the first leg last week was Forest’s eighth defeat in a row against United in all competitions with the Red Devils winning every game they have played them.
